I’m a mom to four kids, and motherhood changed me in ways I never expected. It’s what drew me toward birth and the space surrounding it, the quiet, the intensity, and the moments that deserve to be held with care.

Birth is intense, emotional, and deeply personal. Having experienced it myself, I understand how vulnerable those moments can feel, how much is happening all at once, and how important it is to feel supported and respected. When I photograph births, I come in quietly and gently, with the understanding that this is your space and your story.

I don’t direct or stage moments. Instead, I focus on what naturally unfolds, the anticipation, the strength, the connection, and the small in-between moments that often end up meaning the most. I work within hospital guidelines and alongside medical staff, always mindful of staying unobtrusive while still capturing the emotion of the experience.

My hope is to create images that feel honest and timeless. Photographs that bring you back to how it felt, not just how it looked. Images you can return to years from now and remember the beginning of your child’s story.

As my photography evolved, so did my understanding of what mattered most to me. Photographing families and children made it impossible to ignore how quickly those early seasons pass; and how much meaning lives in the very beginning. That realization is what led me to pursue labor and delivery photography.

My portfolio reflects this progression. The work you see represents years of documenting connection, emotion, and family, all of which now inform how I approach birth photography with care and intention.
